Him

I call him the Bugman bc he is completely bald thanks to a weird razor he uses to shave that glorious skull of his,and bc when i first saw him he wore those funny wrap around sun glasses that gave him the appearance of sexy bug.
He also has the neatest ears and the sum of his parts fit together perfectly like an insect.
He is still doing the bald thing but no longer wears the wrap arounds and has moved on to this years Ray Bans. He does like his sunglasses. I think i will change my name for him though to zombie man.
Zombie man is strong, and is a night owl,and also does this one thing that all zombies seem to love doing....he eats brains.
Not directly out of someone's head but the brains that come from an animal like a calf or something.
He fries them up with garlic and then mixes in eggs. WTF
On a good day I can open the windows turn on the fan above the stove, and slowly forget that he has committed such an act. But today I'm not feeling 100% and i keep on having olfactory and visual flashbacks to supper. I forbid him from even letting the children go near them,bc
A. It's gross
B. It's gross
C. I'm thinking if mad cow disease hangs out anywhere it's gotta hang out in brains...maybe I'm wrong (gotta wiki it),but.......
Still it offends me more than the meat thing.
Sweet breads, variety meats whatever name you give it,it's just plain nasty.
My bugman is a zombie this could be a song by the B52's,or a movie directed by John Waters.
He doesn't eat them often and is pretty good about warning me even going as far as telling me not to look in the bags he brings back from the market saving us both from the horror show that is my reaction. It literally makes me want to scream and then vomit.
Yet this zombie is the gentlest of zombies, whose kiss can change the course of the future, whose smile can soothe a wearied soul and whose arms are a haven from even the nastiest of details this life can throw our way.
Sometime tonight around 23;00 the last remnants of smell will hopefully be gone, and I can ease myself into his arms, and forget that every once in blue moon the bugman turns into a zombie

that was so much fun. thank you. brains hmm. i wonder if they taste good.
OMG like i'm never ever going to taste them, unless it was basically the last thing on earth to eat…and i think i'd eat my own arm or something first….ewwwww.
But many people enjoy them..the zombie people ;-)
I ate my scabs as a kid so it isn't a judgement thing just a stomach thing cuz i won't eat scabs now.
How have you been Jenni?
doing fine here thank you bbque. scabs. I might have partaken in a couple in my life time.
blessings to you and Bugman, B.B.,

that was a big thing in my family when I was a kid….cow's brains and eggs. But once my grandfather died…it didn't hang around. I was six when grandpa died. Although I still eat tripe, tongue, liver and kidney….and most other stuff…but I'm not crazy about escargot.
C.G. thank you,and the Bugman thanks you ;-)
Maze I spent much of my adolescence in the country surrounded by devout meat eaters.
Both my father's family as well as my Mother's were very poor, when my parents were young. they ate what was served and tongue, and heart, and liver, and kidneys and brains…none of it went to waste.
My mother quite enjoyed a tongue sandwich and my father liver and bacon.
I could never bring myself to do the tongue or liver and bacon thing, but I do eat sashimi, and sushi and escargot, and kefir and cheese, and a zillion other things that are kinda gross when you think about it :-). I also enjoy raw oatmeal with a little milk and raisins.
I'm pretty curiuos when it comes to food just the meat thing no can do,not even a political thing just a stomach thing…”hello may I eat your muscle Mr. Cow?” ;-) The bugman thinks it's cute…or sometimes annoying, but I no longer vomit every time he cooks meat,I think i'm becoming rather adept at denial or something.
brains and eggs is GOOOOOD y'all!! i remember hog brains scrambled up in eggs. tasted just like sausage, with the same texture as the eggs. really yummy. and i was a real picky eater as a kid, but i'd eat several big helpings of brains and eggs whenever we stayed at “Aunt” Julia's, she lived on a hog farm. they never threw any part of those pigs out, every bit got used for something. good eatin' mmm mmmm mmmmmmm
I'm fond of chives with my eggs or cheese or both, really like asparagus too.
I like pigs there so cute and funny and the make pig sounds. i just don't want to have pig sounds like the ones you make while chewing pig ;-)
I don't know if this delicacy is eaten much anymore but it's called head cheese. You literally boil the pigs head with a variety of spices and stuff. I'm going to go and find a recipe….here we go .Nope not gonna eat any but apparently many people still do.
