It's quite fascinating to watch them learn. Some days I am rather exhausted by it all. Aley I commend you,being able to teach :-) C.G. there are some good stories out there and in me,and am looking forward as well to the more intricate tales one reads as we get older. My oldest and I still trade books.
Woohoo….reading is the first step and if shown how much “fun” it can be…can make a lasting impress.
I took my kids to bookstores for “fun”…told them if they read books, I would continue to buy more…and they did and Still do!
My daughter reads about 4-5 books a week and my son pretty much the same. They like nonfiction, but as they have aged, they now read classics and we discuss them..I was not a teacher when we did this…just a reader who appreciated books..!
All my children are avid readers the difference is Nico usually does it on his;…and bookstores little havens in the city :-) Aley your children are blessed to have you as their Mom.
